Compaq hard drives are now available in the low-profile (3.5x1) form factor. This increases the number of systems supporting 18.2GB 10k drives expanding the storage capacity of new and existing Compaq servers and storage systems. 18.2GB low-profile drives will be available as non-pluggable drives (permanent mounting into a server or workstation) ProLiant Wide-Ultra hot-pluggable drives (mounted in the ProLiant hot-plug drive tray) and as Ultra2 hot-pluggable drives (in the new LVD pluggable drive carrier). This Compaq 18.2gb pluggable wide ultra2 scsi 388144-B22 hard drive is tested and proven under Compaq's extensive drive qualification program and backed by Compaq's drive warranty (up to three years) and Pre-Failure Warranty. This drive has been configured and tested in all supported applications to ensure immediate flawless integration into Compaq systems. Thus risk of incompatibility is eliminated and Compaq customer's time to success is accelerated.
